About Me

Hi, I’m Julian and I make stuff.

I’ve been drawing since I could hold a pen; the doodles in my maths books were a sure-fire way to make teachers angry, lemme tell ya! But I couldn’t help it. I had big dreams and a hunger for making them known.
I would draw rockets – design them, really, at a whopping 7 years old. I’d draw the solar system and the places my spaceship would land. My imagined journeys would take me on real life journeys through the history of art and story telling. I had no idea how beneficial it would be to dream.

A couple encyclopaedias in and I had already fallen in love with world building. The little details that draw the audience in and suspend their disbelief. In my ‘Projects’ section, you can see the planets and cultures I created. The strange and wondrous creatures and their nonsensical customs quickly became a tool for exploring my personal life experiences through science fiction and fantasy.

That’s what art is all about, isn’t it? It’s about communication and connecting with others through language barriers. Showing your raw ideas and getting others just as psyched up about them as you are!

So now, I create things to share and be shared. To bring others to your table, as it were. I draw to tell your stories. I draw for fun. 🙂
